I was supposed to write a paper on how the mind is like [insert thing here] and spent forever trying to think up a metaphor I could be happy with since I believe metaphors for cognition absolute bunk. I can explain this, but it would break my rule not to go on a linguistics/AI/Cog Sci/Philosophy tangent on my LJ. :)

So I decided to have fun. I wrote a paper on how the mind is like the Scheme Metacircular evaluator. It's almost done.
