I've liked (not really loved, but certainly liked) to write since I was pretty young. I haven't written anything much (besides a handful of poetry and parodies) since starting college. I used to write a lot though; when I was younger I wrote a (small) novel. I never liked to show others my writing, especially since starting college. I've always been a guarded person in many ways and I found that I could always see too much of myself in my writing - no matter what I wrote about.

Two people on LJ have heard of a... substantial project... which I've been scheming about for a week or so. It has sort of taken on a life of its own in my head. I think I'm actually going to do this. In its very nature is writing a lot of material. I have to some how come to terms with the public aspects of writing.
