L5Y

I am continually waffling between wanting to direct Last Five Years or R&G next. The poll came out with virtually a tie between the two shows (L5Y edged out R&G), however ET's R&G reading had good attendance.

But I *like* L5Y, even though it's a too angsty for my current state of mind. The music is really good, and to be honest, I can only direct angsty stuff. I also keep getting it stuck in my head. The fact that my lab partner's name is Jamie doesn't help.

But I can't do L5Y. I am saddened and relieved to find a concrete reason why it would never work.

My god! The rights are expensive. The show's not old enough!
